La Tierra del Fuego

Patagonia exists on a scale that is difficult to understand until you are inside it. Mountains rise directly from open plains, glaciers disappear into valleys and roads continue towards horizons that never seem to get any closer.

La Tierra del Fuego is a photographic journey through southern Argentina and Chile. The series follows the landscape through Patagonia, from the immense spaces around El Chaltén to the mountains of Torres del Paine and the ice fields further south. Rather than documenting individual places, the project explores the sensation of moving through one of the most remote landscapes on Earth.
